Club Founder, Director, and Coach: Earl O: 18U With 16 years of coaching volleyball (and a combined 21 years in youth sports), Earl is the founder of Team Performance, now entering it's 5th year, serving the needs of a growing South Surrey community. A Level 2 certified coach, Earl has coached 11 straight club seasons to a top 8 finish in BC. As a coach he has won three Division 1 provincial medals, four National medals, six high school Surrey medals, three high school Fraser Valley medals and one high school provincial medal, all with Earl Marriott, Semiahmoo and Elgin Park. Earl has also head coached a Fraser Valley zone team, competing at the 2010 BC Summer Games. In 2012, Earl coached his club team to a provincial title. Both Earl and Coach Ray run training sessions during the high school season for athletes in the community. Earl works for the City of Surrey and resides in White Rock.
Director, Coach: Kevin M.: 17U Kevin is a Business Education teacher at South Delta Secondary. He has coached for seven years at both the club and high school levels. Kevin is passionate about the mental side of the game and believes in the process, first. HIs school teams have finished within the top five in BC three of the last four years, including a provincial silver with South Delta Sun Devils. He resides in Surrey.
Coach: Jayln H. Coach Jayln has played competitive volleyball since the beginning of 6th grade, in both high school and club volleyball. She began playing post secondary at Green River College in Seattle, but unfortunately had to quit her freshman year due to injury. She now attends Vancouver Island University where she is studying Criminology. Jayln has remained in the volleyball community volunteering to assist local University teams, as well as coaching at the U14 level.
Coach: Kelsey S. Coach Kelsey has played volleyball competitively since the beginning of grade 8. Throughout secondary she played club volleyball and competed with her high school as well. Kelsey’s post secondary volleyball career was at College of the Desert in California where she played both court and beach volleyball. Kelsey and her beach partner placed third in the CCCAA state playoffs to end her time in the states. She is currently a student at University of Calgary studying psychology. She believes that “every young female athlete should have a positive role model in their sport that can help them achieve their full potential and have fun in the process,” as her club coach was for her. She looks forward to shaping the next volleyball generation!
Coach: Jensen F. Coach Jensen played volleyball competitively through all of her high school years earning Provincial and National titles. Unfortunately, she had to quit playing volleyball due to injuries and now remains active in the volleyball community through coaching. Jensen has been coaching volleyball for four years training athletes ages 9-18 and continues to improve her coaching ability by earning NCCP certifications and completing a bachelor’s in physical education and coaching with a specialization in kinesiology. She hopes to be a positive role model for her athletes and to challenge them in a way that helps them to grow as both athletes and young women in today’s society.

Coach: Greg C. Coach Greg has coached high school volleyball at Earl Marriott for 3 years, at the Grade 8 and 9 levels. Prior to that he was a soccer coach at the house and rep levels for over 5 years. Greg has has played volleyball at different levels for about 30 years, both indoor and beach, and has only stopped playing volleyball either due to having young kids, or COVID-19. Volleyball runs strong in his family, as both of his daughters and his wife also play the sport. Greg has a desire to let all volleyball players experience and feel the passion that comes from playing this sport. Greg resides in Surrey.
Coach: Amy D. Coach Amy has been involved in high level sports since she was very young, and throughout her volleyball career, was primarily a setter for club and the captain of her secondary school team. Aside from playing, she has also been involved previously with assistant coaching and helping with grade 8-12 girls’ volleyball as well as junior boys’ volleyball. Amy is currently attending Simon Fraser University majoring in biomedical physiology. Amy encourages hard work and a positive team environment as she believes this is what draws her to the love of the game and helps in several aspects of life. She is looking forward to furthering each and every player’s skills, passion, and enjoyment of volleyball throughout her time coaching.
Director, Coach: Raymond L. A teacher in the Surrey school district, Ray has coached high school and club volleyball for over 15 years. Most of the teams he has coached is at the 14U / Grade 8 level, but he has experience coaching from 12U through 18U. In 2010, Ray was the chair for the beach volleyball event at the BC Summer Games. Several of the teams Ray has coached have achieved titles and medal performances, including four high school medals (two Surrey championships), and three club medals. In 2012, his 14U club team won the Canada West National title. Both Ray and Coach Earl run training sessions during the high school season for athletes in the community. Ray resides in Langley.
