Club Founder, Executive, and Coach: Earl Ostrosser: 17U With 14 years of coaching volleyball (and a combined 19 years in youth sports), Earl is the founder of Team Performance, now entering it's 5th year, serving the needs of a growing South Surrey community. A Level 2 certified coach, Earl has coached 11 straight club seasons to a top 8 finish in BC. As a coach he has won three Division 1 provincial medals, four National medals, six high school Surrey medals, three high school Fraser Valley medals and one high school provincial medal, all with Earl Marriott, Semiahmoo and Elgin Park. Earl has also head coached a Fraser Valley zone team, competing at the 2010 BC Summer Games. In 2012, Earl coached his club team to a provincial title. Both Earl and Coach Ray run training sessions during the high school season for athletes in the community. Earl works for the City of Surrey and resides in White Rock.
Coach: Alysha Deslippe Coach Alysha has been involved with competitive indoor and beach volleyball since the age of 13. Her high school and club achievements included a top-10 finish in Alberta indoor, a top 4 finish in school beach, and co-captained a city title her senior year. She continued her volleyball career by coaching a bantam boys' team in Calgary, and this past year, worked with the South Delta Grade 8 girls team. She looks forward to helping train her new team and furthering each player's skills as they develop an even deeper passion for the game.
Coach: Nika Serediuk Coach Nika began playing volleyball in 2008 and continues to this day. She has experience coaching a Junior high school team and head coached both indoor and beach camps run by Douglas College. She is currently studying kinesiology at Douglas College. "I strongly believe this is a game where you will never stop learning to better yourself as an athlete. I haven't, and it is my job to make sure these girls continue to learn and improve through all their years of playing this sport that I love so much."
Coach: Virginia Chang Coach Virginia has been involved with volleyball for several years; after high school, she coached several teams of various ages, summer camps, and head coached with I Dig It Volleyball Club. She continues to play competitively in various leagues. Virginia is a current student at Douglas College in kinesiology.
Coach: Raymond Lee A teacher in the Surrey school district, Ray has coached high school and club volleyball for over a decade. Most of the teams he has coached is at the 14U / Grade 8 level, but he has experience coaching from 12U through 18U. In 2010, Ray was the chair for the beach volleyball event at the BC Summer Games. Several of the teams Ray has coached have achieved titles and medal performances, including four high school medals (two Surrey championships), and three club medals. In 2012, his 14U club team won the Canada West National title. Both Ray and Coach Earl run training sessions during the high school season for athletes in the community. Ray resides in Langley.
Coach: Kevin McGregor Kevin is a Business Education teacher at South Delta Secondary. He has coached both the club and high school levels. He resides in Surrey.
Coach: Amy de Ste Croix Coach Amy is a recent Seaquam Secondary graduate. She has been involved in high level sports since she was very young in both softball and volleyball and has lived in the athletic environment for the majority of her life. She is the captain of her high school and last club team and is looking forward to leading her team as well as the team she is coaching to success. Aside from currently playing, she has also been involved previously with coaching grade 8 girls and junior girls’ and boys’ volleyball. She is looking forward to furthering each and every player’s skills, passion, and enjoyment of the game of volleyball over the duration of this club season.
